Yayra Glover Ltd. Wins 2026 RestorLife Business Leadership Award

Yayra Glover Ltd. has been named the winner of the 2026 RestorLife Responsible Business Leadership Award, an international recognition celebrating businesses that are creating measurable positive impact for nature, communities and the future of our planet.

The award was presented during UNCCD COP17 in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, where governments, organisations, businesses and environmental leaders from around the world have gathered to address land degradation, drought and the restoration of healthy landscapes.

For us at Yayra Glover Organic Inputs, this achievement is especially meaningful. It recognises a vision that has been built over many years: proving that agriculture can be productive and profitable while protecting the soil, supporting farmers and restoring the natural environment.

What is the RestorLife Award?

The RestorLife Awards 2026 are led by Restor in partnership with the G20 Global Land Initiative and partners including Ma Earth. The awards recognise organisations and businesses making an exceptional contribution to protecting and restoring nature.

The Responsible Business Leadership category specifically honours businesses that have moved beyond sustainability promises and can demonstrate that responsible environmental practices are embedded in the way they operate.

Businesses are evaluated in four important areas:

Proven Impact – measurable results for restoration and biodiversity Long-term Vision – sustainability that can continue and grow over time Community Involvement – meaningful participation and benefits for local communities Responsible Stewardship – ethical practices and responsible management of natural resources

This makes the award much more than a trophy. It is international recognition that a business model can combine economic development, environmental responsibility and community impact.

Selected From 109 Businesses Worldwide

The achievement is particularly remarkable because the 2026 competition attracted 109 business applications from around the world.

Only six companies were selected as finalists:

Yayra Glover Ltd., HP, Tetra Pak, Pictet Group, Puro Fairtrade Coffee and Gordian Knot Strategies.

Restor highlighted Yayra Glover Ltd. for building Ghana's first certified organic cocoa value chain and for its work with more than 5,000 smallholder farmers.

To see a Ghanaian agricultural business recognised on the same international stage as some of the world's most established companies is a powerful acknowledgement of what can be achieved when sustainability is placed at the centre of business.

From a Vision in Ghana to International Recognition

At the heart of this journey is Yayrator Glover, founder of the Yayra Glover movement and Chief Executive Officer of Yayra Glover Organic Inputs.

His vision has always gone beyond simply producing and trading cocoa.

Recognised on the Global Stage at UNCCD COP17

The award was presented in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, during the 17th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification — UNCCD COP17, taking place from 17–28 August 2026.

Winning businesses receive international recognition from Restor and the G20 Global Land Initiative, global visibility through a case study, and recognition at COP17. The business award is an honorary leadership recognition rather than a cash prize.

Being recognised on this platform places the work started in Suhum, Ghana, within a much larger global movement to restore degraded land, protect biodiversity and build more resilient food systems.
